update on my max, for those who care

finally after about 3 months, my max SHOULD be driveable within a week.
background: blew reverse and decided it would be a good time to make the tranny replacement a very expensive project

whats finished: front tokico blues on ST springs (previous was ST/KYB combo), fitted E36 projectors (will secure and wire up soon).

waiting for exedy stageI clutch from the maxxtuning group deal and subframe connectors (stageI,II,III), motor (10.5:1 300zx NA pistons, new exhaust valve guides, rebuilt VTC, shaved UDP, shaved stock flywheel, 3 angle valve job, new valve springs, should be done by saturday/monday).

final list of mods: new motor, reman tranny, exedy clutch, FSTB, ST springs, tokico blues, WSP SFCs, ST FSB, addco RSB, pop style intake, P+P TB, TB coolant bypass, heat-wrapped coolant pipe (flowing under lower plenum), walbro 255lph, E36 BMW projectors, 6500K HID low beams, philips allweather fogs, cleared front turn signals, pioneer premier 740MP, MA audio MA-W6 15" sub in big ported box, JBL BP600.1, PPI PC450, MB quart referance 6.5" componants, memphis 6.5" coax, lots of peel and seal, 17x8 eagle rims (soon to be black chrome or replaced with rota subzeros), 235/45 falken rubber (changing to sumitomo HTRZII), mintex street pads, brembo blanks, pacesetter short shifter, waterwetter/water coolant mix, filled motor/tranny mounts, shaved UDP, shaved flywheel, autometer EGT/oil temp guages, relocated battery (optima redtop), heatwrapped exhaust to cat/testpipe, removed A/C system..i think thats about it.

even if its nothing, its piece of mind that i have new pistons on a rebuilt motor by a reputable shop..i'm not going all-out on the motor, i wanted a good combination of suspension, braking, acceleration, comfort and convienience, i believe i've done that...some of my friends knock me for not going TTZ pistons and a decent turbo but i wanted to be slightly different and still have reliability and comfort as well as minimal headaches.

you know its a VE when: functional VTC and knock sensors are considered mods
