Hey..... I just read on the Courtesy Nissan site that the
FSTB that installation on some 92-94 SE Maximas may require
a bend in the bar.... true? Not True? What's up with that?

they used to have a different design for the VE max (92-94 SE), but now they just have one bar for all 3rd gen and it looks a little different
the old bar is the one I have and fits fine, but the newer one isn't really designed for the VE, but you can get it and might have to bend it a little to fit, but from the people I've talked to, it's not that big of a deal

also, about the headlight rewiring thing, I wasn't able to find a way to change the switch; the easiest way is with the diode right before the harness to the headlight which I think would work pretty well. If you did this with our current bulb setup, I think the extra heat would melt the filaments quicker, but if you have BMW lights or HID or something else, it should work

Courtesy wants more money!!!

Courtesy was selling part #A32-STB for $59.95 which was just a basic strut bar that didn't look fancy or anything. They also sold a chrome one (#A33-STB) that was more of a show piece for $20 more. I called them up today and tried to order the regular one, but all they sell now is the more expensive chrome one and for $10 more than before. Total? $89.95!!! I wish they would sell the regular one.... it was a good deal...
As far as the 92-94 thing (which affects me) what I have heard is that you may have to bend it slightly, but maybe not at all. It clears the VE intake by about 1/4 inch from what I have seen, and the only thing to think about are the coil wires.
