Front Passenger Suspension Clicking Noise!!!

Recently, my front passenger side is starting to make a clicking/ clocking noise when the car is moving. It does not seem like the struts gave out because when I am going on the freeway the car handles fine. I also checked if the strut blew out and checked for any leaks and seems fine. What else could be the problem?

Do you have a plate on the top of your coil? Make sure it's aligned property.

Well, the plate and the boot cover has come off. Do you think this is making the noise, because the other side is like that too.

I don't think so. I thought it was the plate not sitting right and jiggling.

Have you checked the nuts in the back making sure they are tight? Or does it happen only when you touch the brakes? Could be something with the drum or caliper?

Are you absolutely sure it's coming from the strut area?

Wheel bearings click and clock as they go bad, and believe me, if you don't know the sound, it could sound as though it's a strut, a mount or a a varied amount of things.

Does it tick all the time or only when the cars warms up after driving for some time? If your answer is yes, could be your right side wheel bearing.

Check the sway bar links at the lower control arm.

The bushings tend to wear out over time and will make a metal-to-metal noise (between the link and the control arm).

If that's not it, sounds like a bad cv joint. Is it much lounder when turning, especially from a stop?

The noise level is always the same when I hit a bump or make a turn. When I took a look at the wheel well, I saw that the boot cover and a rubbery ring that goes on the strut is loose. The ring has three tabs that can be pushed back onto the strut. Also, my bellow boot has broken apart for quite a while. There isnt too much grease on the driveaxles.

I now that the cv boots are not torn apart. I checked that when I was changing the brakes a couple of months ago. I have not checked the bushing on the sway bar. If these bushings are worn out, could I buy these at a local auto part store. Is there a grease fitting on these so that I could put some with a grease gun.
