My suspension is looking great, now I want to focus on the power aspect. Seeing as I have the underpowered 160 hp version I need a little more help. What would you guys suggest to give me the most hp for my dollar ? Btw I am looking at a high flow cat and removal of my resonator all for about $150.

What exactly are you doing there? Resonator? Is the cat you intake filter? I'm looking to do that...seems like a good newbie project.

well a high flow cat isn't gonna yield you very much power...at 150 i would get maybe a pop charger and save the excess to put towards a y-pipe in the future...this will lead to a great combo where a high flow cat is just odd by itself...

A Pop-charger is a bolt-on intake. It's just a filter with an adapter. You can buy one on ebay or you can buy a Jim Wolf Technology pop-charger from various places. Stillen sells this unit also. http://www.stillen.com or http://www.jimwolftechnology.com

the jwt and stillen have a velocity stack. it increases flow. this works much better than just an adapter that has a straight inlet.

did you have the UDP on your sky blue max? did you really gain power from it? ive talked to people that did that mod and they said they felt like they threw their money away. i thought it was just a smaller diameter pulley to drive the a/c n stuff. so if your not running your a/c can you still notice a difference?

Bang for the buck

Personaly if I had limited funds for mods I would concentrate on the intake and y-pipe. Proven mods that unlease ponies. You won't see alot of gains with changing the Cat or ditching the resonater I had a JWT intake and was pleased. Now I have our new version of the CAI. The only thing holding us up on selling is a reasonable price on a K&N or similar type filter. We are working on this. BTW we will finish the CAI prototpying on IsaacMs" VG Maxima on Monday. Production will not take long at all. Should be ready to go in about 10 days or so. Hope this helps a little. Dan WSP
