Fuel Injectors???
today i went to a shop to check out another maxima that im buying right now as we speak. its a '90 SE 5-speed for $200. anways thats not part of what im about to ask. i don't know if this has been talked about cuz i searched and right now its not workin' for me. the guy thats selling me the SE told me that if my injectors are messed up i can take my car to the nissan dealership and have them replaced at no charge. i don't know if he's saying the truth or if its real cuz he told me that it was a recall so he says. so all i wanna know if this is true??? thanks in advance.

you can search for the recalls for your maxima on the nissan website. they dont show any recalls for the injectors. ive never heard of nissan doing anything for free unless it has to do with the seatbelts. i would call them first and find out.

I don't think there is any recall on 3rd Gen Maximas for injectors. About 6 years ago when I washed cars at a Nissan dealer I remember there being a recall for fuel injectors on early to mid 1980's Nissans.
I remember there was a 84 300zx that I was interested in at the dealer and it was getting the injectors changed under a recall. Also I remember there was a few 2nd Gen Maximas (an 86 & 87 I believe) also getting the injectors changed under recall.
I don't know the specifics on the recall but I thought it might have had something to do with defective rubber/material that would breakdown and cause a possible hazard.
