I was very interested of getting an ignition so I did some research I called few people at jacobs and heres what they said.
1. Increase in fuel pump to 98% instead of 76% what we all have now.
2. Increase in 8% lbs. of torque
3. Increase in 10.75% hp at the wheels.

The first two... maybe.. but 10% out of 140-170 whatever your car may be thats 16 extra hp. to the wheel. To me its seems way too unreasobale. What do you guys think. Oh and the price is $329

well according to your HP calculator and the riceboy math you should be getting 16 additional HPs right?
the guy on the phone is there for ONE reason...TO MAKE YOUR MONEY. i can tell u i have this part that gives u additional 20 hps but it's a computer fan would people buy it?? of course..they are called suckers. there's one born every minute.
think of what the Jacobs ignition does....it creates a stronger spark and etc. well does your car NEED the stronger spark? are u running boost? or high shot of NOS?
what does the ignition have to do with anything with the fuel pump anyway?
to sum it up..it's a waste of your money if your not cranking major HPs. but if u want to try it give it a shot, they have the money back gurantee..(of course in the fine print there a restocking fee charged to u and etc)

I got my Jacobs ICE Pack for $370, tax and shipping. Dan, the reason they say to upgrade the fuel input is due to the increased effeciancy of the ignition system to burn the fuel. Increased spark effeciancy + added fuel pressure + more air = more HP! The 16 hp stated is giving the greatest POSSIBLE amount of hp to be gained on the vehicle. Dan is right, do you need an ignition system? Well, if like me, you have a K&N filter, CAI, Fuel pressure riser, custom exhaust, then yes, a Jacobs will be of benifit because you have increased the air intake, fuel pressure, and exhaust flow in your engine, so now bump up the spark to burn it all! If you don't have anything like this on your car, you will see a very small increase in hp and a deceant gain on fuel effeciency depending of course on the condition of your engine and mileage. I doubt I got 16 hp even with all my stuff, but I think that I gained around 10- 14, and more than likely this is at the flywheel, not the wheels!
