hey i was on auto trader the other day and saw an ad for an XE max. I heard they have XE sentras, do they have XE max's? just wonderin.

 

It was probably a typo...never heard of an xe max.

 

I have seen ads like that as well. It usually turns out to be a GXE max. Maybe their "G" button is broken?

Or MAYBE there's a 4Wd Maxima on the road with crazy suspension set-up and new badging. heheh, that'd be cool if there were.

 

I've seen advertised "2 door Maxima" and other stupid crap like that! I just talked to a boy who tried to sell me a '91 Black SE Max w/ leather interior for $3200. Turned out to be a '90 and had an exhaust stud broke on the rear manifold, 206,000 miles, and when the people before him replaced the clutch they didn't turn the flywheel so everything vibrates! So, it needs a clutch job and the exhaust stud fixed. I told him it was too much and he said that's what he had in it. I just told him I was sorry if he had that much, he overpayed. I think I made him madd!? Surprisingly though, there was no tranny noise and the engine ran perfect, no noise there either! I just didn't want to invest over $3,800 (after taxes and getting it fixed) into a car with that high mileage. He told me he was gonna trade it in on a Cadilac.....lol!
