Had a nice race the other night between some riceboy and his integra. Pulls up next to be reving and flashing his cute little strobe lights. light went green and he got a good start (he had 5speed)i heard his filter but it was no match for the VG30E......easy win, it wasent a gsr but im not sure if anything below the gsr has vtec....but like i always say...vtec deez nuts

Integra LS, GS, RS do not have VTEC and are VERY slow.
Integra GS-R, Type-R have VTEC and will most likely beat out VG30E max's.

Type R

The only Integra that can beat you with such ease would be a Type R, other than that I think the gs-r is pretty much equal to a max!

VE 5-spd w/all bolt-ons will take out an Integra GS-R & Type-R.

VE 5-spd w/only intake will give an Integra GS-R a good run. It all comes down to driver skill at this point.

Hondas w/J-spec Integra Type-R engine swap will murder VE 5-spd w/intake, exhaust, y-pipe, ecu, short shifter, clutch.

**** my bad...

I thought you asked how does a VG compare to a VE. Now that i read the REAL question...well the ITR has 195 hp (more then both the VE and the VG) and is lighter then a max. With VTEC it also pulls better at the super high revving (8500) engines. So...VG is smoked. VE is close. I think ITR will porbably take off the line but the max will walk on the top end. Am I right?

Re: **** my bad...

Stock vs Stock... Type-R will take out VE 5-spd.. even on the top end.

VG 5-spd w/CAI, Y-pipe, exhaust, clutch, adv timing, short shifter, & ECU should be able to hang with a stock Integra GS-R if not beat the GS-R but will still lose to a Type-R.

VG 5-spd w/all mods above + Cams, UDP and you should be able to hang with a Type-R and beat a stock GS-R.

It all comes down to driver skill too...

I wonder how I would do up against a stock Type R since I'm squeezing juice. I do have basic bolt on's as you can see.. And yes, after almost 2 months I finally got my bottle refilled. Never have gone up against Type R since I never have seen any (real) of them on the street.

I know alot of racing Integras... There are a couple GS-R's in my car club and there's a Super-charged Type-R and another black Type-R with some engine work, and we have a non-VTEC Integra LS with 12:1 compression.. it's still under work but we predict 13's all motor for his 91 Integra.
