Fuel Pump...

Fuel Pump...

The fuel pump in the VGs they are in tank pumps.. has anyone done a fuel pump for a VG before? did you drop the gas tank? or is there another way of doing it? i heard that oyu can do it without droping the gastank but i dont know how that could work... let me know

Take out the lower/upper back seat. Right in the middle is the cover for the fuel pump. Unscrew that and it gives you access to the fuel pump/cover. Disconnect the electrial lines. Release the pressure then undo the fuel lines(note the order), then undo the 8mm bolts and lift the assembly out of the tank.
