Ok, upper radiator on moms Maxima sprung a leak. It's right on the seam. What I want to know, is can the tank itself just be replaced, or do we need a whole new rad?

 

buy a whole new radiator. the tanks are plastic... by the time they're cracked, there's nothing you can do about it.

200SX and it's not a 4 cyl? I take it you got one of those bast@rd models with a VG? neato.

 

Well, we found a place that will clean the radiator and replace the tanks for $75, and give us a lifetime gaurentee. So, we're gonna backflush the heater core as long as we gotta dump the radiator.

Yeah, I got one of the ~6000 200sx SE's. I got the 3.0 bored to 3.3, and am about to go back in with it, with all a few other goodies including ported intake and heads, custom cams, headers, oil cooler, bigger radiator, lots of other goodies. It's gonna be pretty sweet when I finish.
