How much would you guys be willing to pay for a T3 internally wastegated/non IC'd version. Battery stays and no cutting of sheet metal? Would probably not run a BOV but a recirulation valve instead. Hydraulic scavenge pump for the turbo drain. Boost would be what the stock Z31 T3 puts out. Maybe 4-6psi. Vortech Fpr and a Walbro 255lph pump?

Dunno. Depends if everyone wants new or rebuilt parts. Still have to work with some people to neg price/agreements etc... Who knows, what people are willing to pay might not be worth the hassle.

$5 dolla

Hmm I had no idea anything was 'in the works'...I would definitely be interested though in any degree of anything VE turbo (ie rebuilt/new, intercooled/non-intercooled, low boost/high boost). I'd be interested in anything offered regardless of price

you've got a couple of options.

you can go with the one Jeff was talking about... which should be good for mid-200hp numbers easily... or you can go bigger. of course it gets more sexpensive, but you gotta pay to play.

Does this mean there's various 'stages' per say actually in the works? Do tell

A T3 or T25 from a Z31 would be good for around 240hp. Since the stock VE injectors are 259cc they max out around the same as the T3/T25 turbo's themselves. After that more power requires either 370cc or 555cc injectors and probably a Z32 maf + fuel pump upgrade. Tuning would be tricky too, without an ecu program other methods need to be used. I'd recommend running a Greddy emanage, since it allows for changing the fuel/ignition curves.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. My car will be apart this winter too. I'd be a decent canidate for a beta test. *hint* *hint*

As far as cost? Doesn't the avrage kit for the 4th gen cost about $3500?

schol ain't working too goodly huh? hehe. The only things that could make the system cheaper is not including some parts. ie.. IC and maybe using an internal wastegate. Other than that, turbo systems will cost about that same regardless of the boost level. You could just rig a manual boost controller and up the boost to get more hp. But you would have to make changes to the FPR disc and make sure you don't overdrive the injector duty.

if you need a low cost version and are using the 300zx t3 you can just not include the intercooler and piping and make a direct pipe from the turbo to tb. you can run about 10 psi out of those turbos without an intercooler.

i'd like to have a ICed turbo, but with the lack of money i have i'm not sure if i could pay for it all at once... i'd be more than willing if i could pay in installments but i doubt that would be possible

sure ya can.
find a jar in the kitchen and hide it under your bed. when you want to make a payment, stuff some money in the jar. when you've got enough to buy the whole thing, open the jar and fork over the money.

if you want a flywheel, I'll be glad to hook you up with a Fidanza flywheel for $350 when you get back to this side of the pond.

if anything, you would need to provide kits from the average joe, to someone like me
250hp up to 500+ {different turbo size}
me being the 500+ hp.

the nissan would will be rocked in the next year. thats all i have to say

i'm sure it will just be a starter kit. trying to get the bigger kits for more power will just make things more difficult when trying to even get the thing going. what you could do possibly is just order the kit without the turbo and buy a bigger turbo that will bolt of seperately.

i could be wrong of course, it just depends on how the kit is setup and if any group deals are needed.

the only difference in the kit itself in supplying 250 hp or 500 hp is the turbo size and fuel requirements. i know what turbo is required from my past dsm experience. i also know what fuel is needed { a lot}. i had posted that as a reference point due to some people being happy with 250 hp, some like myself want it all {again, my past dsm's}

I would be satisfy with the modest 250 hp. I would really interested if the kit was made available at a reasonable price. I will make room for the intercooler.
