time to separate the tranny and the engine and replace the seal.

Oooo that'll be fun!
see if you can beat my four hours for the job.
Better replace the clutch too. they have a tendency to get oil on them when stuff like this happens.
If you've got a 5 spd, I'll be glad to sell you a Fidanza flywheel too, since you'll have yours off.

Hey, on maximas its not usually the rear main seal that leaks but the gasket behind the removable rear main seal holder. But when you buy the rear main they give you this gasket as well, and is need to replace it when you do the seal. It an easy install.
