I have cash (good ole B-day money) that's been burning in my pocket for a WSP CAI...but alas, they are out indefinately. I'm looking for some suggestions on what to get for 200 OR LESS. many are firm belivers of hybrids while other like the POP chargers. I personally don't want a POP, sorry jimmy W. What's something to look into, and if you say hybrid, be specific in what to use to make it. My first choice would be CAI...i dont want warm air! Thanks in advance!

What's up on a VE CAI???

I'll have pics of the prototype in (I hope) 7 days from yesterday. I'll be asking 150 plus shipping, and the option of having it painted red or blue with red or blue couplings will be an extra 20, otherwise it will be plain steel or primer grey. it comes with a MAF adapter and a cone filter also.(.org moderators if I'm out of line, let me know please)

all I have is a VG if I get my hands on someone with a VE I'll measure it up and get a kit for it also

 

well keep me posted I have a grey max I would like either polished aluminum or like a close grey to my paint?? Let me know if that is do able???

 

do you know the name of the grey? if not, can you get me a pic of the grey next to a bright red material, some green grass and if at all possible, a medium blue object? If you can provide all three, the match will be almost perfect, two a little worse, and one would be an approximation. I don't have grey couplings though, only black, blue, and red.

Is that grey more silver?? I can't match the paint with those pics sorry. I can do polished steel or painted silver for ya though.

 

hey whats up man i really want a cai and i know for 100% that warpspeed is out and will forever be out. But when you get your shipment in post it up. I really dont want to pay 215 for a place racing cai even though the sticker will give me 15 extra hp i figure i could live without the extra 15 hp.

 

hella, Your in luck, the VG kit will be here a lot sooner than the VE. Pipes are in the mail for the prototype, should be here by wednesday.

Also, I'll trade one complete CAI for a 3rd gen SE Speed sensor.

 

the parts for the prototype will arrive tomorrow, so I'll be getting the full kits in about 2 weeks. sorry about the delay, the company I ordered the proto from was VERY slow about shipping the parts.

 

Ptototype is built and ready to be tested...but I need to wait on my filter and MAF adapter and my tranny.

I'll test it on friday if I get my filter in time.
