I went to the Nissan dealer today to pick up an oil filter like I have been doing for years now. When I got one today, something was different.

When I looked at the box, I noticed that these filters are now made in JAPAN (these oil filters have been made in the USA as long as I have been buying this filter).

I opened the box and the oil filter was now shrink-wrapped. Physically, the filter looked the same as the US made filter (blue).

I don't know if it actually filters any better, but I wonder.....
