poping noise coming from front end when hard right turn
i had this noise before. I was suspecting the bad
sway bar end link bushings. After got them changed to polyurethane bushings at Midas, the noise was gone. But after 3 months, the noise came back now. i sent the car to Midas to get checked, i was told they can't find anything obviously wrong. They checked ball joints, CV joints, tie rods..
What i noticed is the end link bushings are pretty
compressed. Since poly bushings are really hard, i am wondering if they overcompressed the bushings? Since the book said torque should be around 16 flb?
My questions is could it be the overcompressed end link bushings?
Or there is something else i should check?
I have never changed lower control arm bushings,
how do i tell whether they are bad or not?
i tried to look at them but can't figure out. everything seemed to be tight.
Will a bad control arm bushing make poping noise?
Please help.
thanks in advance.

The sway bar bushings would make a noise whenever you hit a bump or something, not just when turning. The noise would be more of a clicking than popping.
My CV joints were very noisy when turning left or right from a stop. Didn't notice the noise when moving. Sounds like a clicking noise.
