what exactaly do these do, and are they easy to install? i only saw a FSTB for a 92 nissan maxima.

they improve handling by not allowing the strut towers to bend and flex when cornering, greatly improving handling. the front is super easy to install, but the back would be a pain to do. the seat would have to come out, etc. lots of companies make them for the front, and i think cattman makes one for the back.

yeah, cattman makes it for rear, i saw some pics for a newer max, and it was just in the trunk..looked easy enough..front strut bar, is taht easy to install, jsut 3 bolts on each side right?

3 bolts with a torque wrench. Make sure your max is on a flat surface when you do the install. 3rd gen Max's don't need a RSTB (Rear Strut Tower Brace)
