JDM Engine for 92 SE

There is a guy on ebay who sells engines for Maximas. There is a V6 VE motor he sells on there; the item# is 2431802349 & his user name is Japanesengines. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this guy. He is in NJ, I didn't know if he is from Motorworks which is also in NJ, I think. Any info will be appreciated. I am thinking about getting one for my Max. Thanks, Matt

wonder if the vtc's are any good in her ? ive been toying with the idea of buying a VE motor and stripping it down and building a monster. (turbo of course as soon as the kit is available.)

they have had that same engine on ebay for 3 months on and off. I notice that it has dropped $200.00. Buy American.

Hey subs, can you let me know how everything with that engine goes? Either on here or email me & let me know how it works out for you. BTW, how much was shipping? I'm thinking of maybe getting one from them. Thanks a lot, Matt

oh i understand now sorry the reason i didnt buy one from here is i couldnt find one with low miles or even high miles for a good price ie over 100k for around $500 theres a local place that had one with 105k and they wanted 1050$ with tax so it was a no brainer to get one with half the mile for 150$ more lets just hope it has that many mile i plan on doing a compression test slitghly after i get it running to see the real condition of the motor

and wasnt it you jeff92 who bought that ve with around 90k off ebay a few months back i would have bought that one if no won else bid on it but at the time i didnt need it so i let it slip away oh well

I bought a VE from a friend. 60k original miles, dead silent VTCs and it was run with semi-synthetics all it's life. Valvetrain was clean as hell. I still have it. It came out of my wrecked car. Is it for sale? Nope. The thing I liked about this motor is that I knew the history on it and how it was taken care of prior to purchase.

I bought a JDM from Motorworks out in Westbury too (24,000miles $1250). They're still working on other problems with my car but I got to play with the car with the new engine installed and it felt great. If anything give them a call.
