I dont have the crossed SFC's. I got stiffed!!! WSP had them fabbed up to my car and then a spare set made to take to the shop, then they changed the design a little bit and made it "bolt-up" for the stage 2 and 3. So I have the first original design made and cannot get 2 and 3. Well now that I got that off my chest...

They are AWESOME!!! I had a stock suspension with 200+k on it and I noticed a BIG difference, of course the springs and wheels were bigger, but still the car felt a bit more solid. Now my SFC's act like skid plates for speed bumps and stuff Definately worth the money and Dan and Dallas are good people. Although, it does not make your car invinceble with them, so dont kill yourself thinking you have a race set up once they are on.

I am pretty sure they are solid inside. The ones I have are, I dont know what kind of metal it is, but the shop that did it makes frames and bmw roll cages and crap like that, so I am sure they know what they are doing. I dont know what WSP is using now, it might say on their site.

It's thick-wall (hollow) structural steel tubing. it's NOT solid. they'd weigh over a hundred pounds if they were solid.
altogether they weigh about 30lb or so. not bad at all considering the performance benefits.

hmmm...I wonder what mine is, cause I know the ones they prodotyped for Dan to take back were VERY heavy and cost alot in shipping. Also, the guys arm was getting very sore each time he held it up to the car. I didnt think of it back them, I HOPE they are not solid cause that would make my car slower. Is there a way to find out?

Don't worry Don, I seriously doubt yours are solid.

they're not solid, Don. Trust me on it.. shipping is $$$ because it's a funky shaped item. anything over 5 ft long gets charged by weight or size (whichever they can charge more for), AND a $5 fee for "additional handling" because they can't put it on a conveyor with the rest of the boxes. Stuff like that has to be hand-carried through the UPS hubs.

if its over 70" total dimension it gets billed out at 70lbs. They also have lost a lot of my oversized packages. as of late I switched to fedex and no problem.

They're big and long. If you'd like to copy their design, I emplore you to buy a set and try to reproduce them yourself. good luck.

haha.

If he is trying to copy the design he is pretty retarted, especially when he can buy them for around $200 for everything.

It will cost you more to fab them, just think...you are buying pieces that have already been fabbed and are proven to work on our cars.

if you have the tools and materials, then do something with a little of your own thinking. WSP put a lot of research and time into making their product, and probably wouldn't like to see you copying their hard work.
