I saw Nissan heaven, and it was beautiful!!!
This is a very wordy post which not everybody will give a damn about.
So I picked up the 3rd maxima tonight for the army of Maxima's I'm building.
So anyways i got it for cheap because it needed an alternator, which i already had on my parts car, so I take it to a friend of a friends house 5min from where i bought the car. It's down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. We pull in and he's got this huge garage, to the right there's 3 or 4 nissan kingcabs, with various parts missing. We start talking, turns out he's worked at a local nissan dealership for 15 years as the head mechanic, he tells me throw out everything just because of the smallest of problems, and he takes most of it home. We go to the back of the garage POW three pathfinders, 3 pathfinder frames, 4 nissan nx's(i know they're not the greatest, but apparently there's alot you can pull off of the engine and screw around with). So now we go into the garage and on one wall there's all trophies, he races done up pathfinders, and the other walls are covered with various nissan promo posters he's taken home over the years. Then I start noticing Nissan engines, everywhere, about 4 or 5 from new/old maximas, and new/old pathfinders. Then along the wall theres a few clutches, 300zx clutch with no km's on it, and many other goodies. Then there's a 'vintage' shelp, filled with engine blocks, cam's, and other things off of 280 and older 300zx's, some still in the package. And on the other side of the garage was a boat with a slammin' clarion stereo, and two brand new atv's. And a huge array of tools, a wall of nuts and bolts. Anyways this post is way too long, I just needed to share, i'm still Giddy. Oh yeah got the alternator on, car runs great, got an awesome car for an amazing deal.

if you get me some cams from a VG30ET and the turbo from one I will come to wherever you are and give you hug...
what specifically do you want pics of? I don't want the guy to think i'm scoping his place out to rob it or something. Oh yeah and there was a tonne of frames there too, I helped load a pathfinder frame onto a trucks, that somehow being used in the rebuild of a 240. I'll see what I can do about pics, no promises though.
Just explain to him there are a bunch of Maxima nutbags that are jealous when they heard a small description of the place.
I've been to VE Heaven before. Sounds really cool though, and he is probably a very good resource to have, and it sounds like he doesnt mind, he showed you all that nifty stuff.
