Well this thread is not exactly about dome lights. The dome light is the center one on the roof right? What are the ones in front of the car on the roof... There are 2 of em, and 2 buttons to turn em on. Let's just call them map lights. Yeah.

Ok I was wondering if they make blue tinted(not blue colored) bulbs for them so they would give off white light instead of yellow. I've been to Pep Boys and Autozone over and over again and I see that they have green bulbs for the "map lights" and blue bulbs for the "map lights" which seem to always be sold out. I've never seen the blue ones in stock. But chances are that they are blue colored, and give off a blue light rather than a white light which is what I'm looking for.

I've already got a white light for my dome light, just looking for something to match in the "map lights".

Any ideas on where to get these guys? Thanks.

 

yesi have them, they make hyperwhite bulbs for map lights. i think the part number is 134 or 143 or something like that. kinda like our headlights are 9004. pep boys had mine.

 

Really because when I went to pep boys they didn't seem to have any colored bulbs at all. Just regular clear bulbs.
