Security light

It keeps blinking after I lock the doors. It doesn't blink during driving though. I check all doors and they're fine. What gives?

are all your sensors good? are they all getting pressed?

if one doesn't get pressed, the light will continue to blink and your alarm will never go off.

So when the light blinks the security system is disabled? (sorry if this is a dumb question, Always thought it was on when the light blinked)

if the doors are closed and locked and the light blinks like it does with the key on the doors open, you have a bad sensor. when the alarm is activated, the light is solid for 30 seconds, then either turns off or blinks slowly, I don't remember.

My driver's side doesn't get pressed all the way down. However, this has been the case since I bought it few months ago. The security light is recent occurence.

Update: I found the problem. When I lock the car with the key, the sensor doesn't get pressed down completely. This is why it kept doing it. However, I pushed it down manually. This won't press it down entirely either, but sufficient enough to stop the blinking.

I know about the 10-20sec thing. The security light was blinking HOURS after I had "locked" the car.
