window prob *new

drivers window now will do down pretty faithfully, but is very stubborn in going up. It doesnt make an abnormal noise, it just doesnt work when i press the mutton for it to go up at times. It was stuck down for 12 hours once, im too scared to use the window, any advice???

Change the motor. It sounds as if it's going bad.

it could be a bad switch or a bad regulator but you can search for that info here

Nah... I doubt it's the motor. The fact that your window STILL will go up and down (albiet intermittently) is testament to that. I'd say first of all, lube the regulator tracks. If that doesn't help, replace the regulator outright.

Since it is intermittent, you might have a loose connection somewhere, maybe in the switch. It might be just barely touching, and when you stop/go or turn a corner it could be touching/untouching. I'd take apart your door panel and check all of the driver window connectors between the switch and the window motor.

If that doesn't work, check the regulator really close to see that it's operating properly. It could be the regulator or the switch.
