I need you guys to help me to help out my friend, he has a 1988 Max auto and his tranny keeps blowing seals, what he wanted me to ask you guys is if you know why this problem keeps occuring and if so, what does he need to do to fix it?

Also he was considering getting a used one from the same model car, if any of you have one or know where to get a good one in decent condition can you please reply back?

If your friend's car is an '88 Max, this might be better asked in the 2nd Gen forum. 3rd Gens started '89

 

I realize that I just thought maybe someone may have moved up from a 2nd Gen to a 3rd Gen and may have experience this problem or know how to correct it or may have an old 2 Gen tranny they'd like to sell.
