New Max for Me?

I was looking on the internet today and saw that a guy with 91 Nissan Maxima was selling his Max for only 400. heres the scoop it has a salvaged title but has been restored and only has 92k on the engine. Everything seems to be in perfect shape mechanically wise. Now my 90 Max is in much need of work mechanically its engine has hit the fan. So my only question is what do u guys think. By the way the 91 is a auto and my 90 is a 5spd. I was just thinkin of doin a 5 spd conversion. Where are the links for the write-ups on these. Ive been searching. Help me out!

instead of the 5spd convertion you could swap the engines which would proboly be easier if thats all thats wrong with your 90 and there is a writeup but i think its for a forth gen

Hey! What's up? I was speaking to you while back around July about meeting up. I'm was coming from New Hampshire. Remember? Anyway, how was boot camp? Get your a$$ kicked everyday.
Well, as far as getting another Max, I like anyone else would probably suggest you look for a 93-94 SE max to get the better engine, I mean they're out there, you just got to look and when you find one, grab it, don't hesitate.
Hey, good luck, we'll have to get a Northeast meet together soon, maybe in the spring.

Well I jus checked the car out. The engine bay jus needs a good cleanin. Exterior jus a small rear dent that looks like it can be pulled out. Luckily the paint job is in goood cond its black. Its a gxe. Now the interior needs some work but I figured I was goin to swap my nice leather interior into that and also all the dash. All In all I will have two Maxs that I paid hardly nothing for. The only thing that I will be doing is the 5 speed swap when I get back from the airforce and while I do that Ill have a clutch and flywheel set aside so i can have the max all modded.
