no they arent. different springs have different drop rates. some may be 2" others 1.8" and so on. Personally i havent investigated this alot so maybe someone here that has springs can answer your question.

You need to search there is a million threads on lowering springs and which are the lowest, etc...

I believe the arospeed is a 1.75 inch drop. Do not believe what you read on ebay, they claim a 2 inch drop but it is not. In fact I don't believe there are any springs that drop our cars 2".

I'm gonna go with intrax I heard nothing but good things about them.

maxspeed make a two inch drop for the 3rd gen, Intrax 1.8 drop , Sprint is a 1.8 drop , Suspension technique with a 1.5 Drop and Eibach witha 1.2 Drop. I have eibach with kyb gr2 and they handle like a dream. i would recommend them for performance ,but for looks sprint or even intrax for the lowest looking drop and for something in between perfomance and looks in a Urban area with pot holes and other bad pavement I recomend suspension technique. Ebiach is a slight drop hardly noticeable, but one of the closet to oem ride quality .

I Purchased the aerospeed springs off of ebay, but have not yet installed them. the springs were $114 shipped and came within three days. my mechanic told me he could intall them for $160. Dont even try to do this yourself. I knew someone that almost took their head off.

Make sure you save up enough to get new struts too. Chances are your stock ones are already shot, and the stiff springs will just destroy them.

I would stay the hell away from tokikos for struts. Those things have the worst reputation for going bad quickly. Also I haven't heard too much good on the GR2s. Don't even think of Arospeed for springs!!! Made in China POS. Bet they don't even know the spring rates. Those are for kids that just want to lower their car with no regard for ride quality and handling. If you're going to change your springs, go with some KYB AGX for struts. More money, but adjustable and much more durable. Sorry I can't recommend springs for the maxima, as I haven't gotten to suspension yet, but H&R makes excellent springs, though not sure if they have a Maxima application. Eibach would probably be a decent choice too.

I don't think KYB makes AGX's for the 3rd gen Maxima. As for Tokico's, they have a lifetime warranty. I know its a PITA to swap them out if they blow, but at shox.com I think they send you a new strut before you send the old one back, which is convenient.

How long have you had those Tokikos? Hey maybe the maxima application is made better, but just by experience with other cars it'd be hard to sway me towards them. Man that's too bad if they're not making AGXs for the max.
