Hold on, Ok Matt come clean. When did you start the new website with all the suspension mods.
Man you never cease to amaze me. That is awesome.

the only thing left I can think of for you to make is a completely custom brace/support/thingamabob that you welded to strengthen, for the rear suspension, where the parallel links bolt to the car. That or homemade control arms.
The only thing left you can do to your car is to make a full tube frame and cut out any unecessary metal

After welding the seams, It's more than strong enough now. main thing you need to worry about on the frame now is the engine crossmember. I've broken one, and noticed some hairline cracks in this one now. I've got one more on the way, but I'm going to strengthen it before I install it this time.
Just the floor carpet.
The stuff that came in the car was burned or something around the center console area and such, so I replaced it with the carpet from Jeff's old maxima. I was wondering if OE carpet is stock carpet. I just assumed stock meant the carpet that came with the car from the factory.

OE carpet is still stock carpet. Maintenance/repair/replacing with OE isn't modifying, thus it's still stock. (unless you're changing the interior color by doing it or something.)
modifying means changing something, not just replacing with the same thing.
So replacing your O2 sensor isn't a mod. replacing your brakes with stock-ish stuff isn't a mod. dumping on a 12.6" rotor w/ Z32 calipers is a mod. (look for pics next week

)care to share more about the brakes? is this for the rear?
fronts... rears are in the works, but probably won't mess with 3rd gens since I already did the Z31 conversion and the writeup on it.
let's say this on the fronts tho..
12.6" brake kit that's affordable, less than almost all the others out there..
Direct bolt on, requires no mods to the car or other parts to fit.
Uses easily replaceable parts that you can pick up at any parts store if you happen to be cruising down the road and wear out a brake pad. Same thing with rotors.
doesn't require funky hub adaptors or spacers or anything like that (unless your wheels can't fit over the calipers, then you'll need regular wheel spacers).
Plenty of pad compounds out there, from cheapo autozone pads up to Hawk, Porterfield, KVR, Ferodo, Axxis, Cobalt Friction, Performance Friction, etc etc etc etc.
Now for the the bad.... Z32 calipers are BIG. they don't fit under most wheels, without spacers.
17" (or bigger) wheels required..
Interested?

Interested? yes, because you always have or make really cool stuff.
Interested as in sending money your way? would be if I didnt already buy http://www.digitalbeta.net/images/92max/brakes1.jpg
Its really cool that your making the brake kit though, I thought it was going to be something for your car but that didnt make any sense
will your brake kit be able to clear the stock 5th gen 6spoke 17" wheels?

are those the 26 or 30mm calipers?
If they're 30mm, I'll work with you on it if you supply the calipers. that's the hardest part of the kit is sourcing the Z calipers, whether new or rebuilt.
matt you're awesome.
remember, too, that my skyline 16" wheels fit over the Z32s.
the fidanza arrived well. thanks. i am now gearing up to remove the control arms.
will email you for more detailed queries. i have the other maxima now. it is red just like yours but not as fast. i love it anyway.

Cool Chad..
I've got the ground kit made up and painted the tie bars black today. had a couple job interviews and was running around to the fab shops the past couple days, so I couldn't get on it... but I'll box it up in the morning and drop it in the mail. you shoudl have it early next week.
Tahnks!

good luck with the interviews, hopefully you will still be able to offer your cool toys to the community
btw, 30mm on the calipers, and thanks for the offer, I didnt even think about it. I need to track down some wheels first though.

Randy's brakes were Z32, yes....
the ones I'm working on now are something else. I'm still using the Z32 calipers, but 12.6" rotors instead of 10.7"
Mr Gone, the bolt was in there while I was trying to remove the pilot bushing. I didn't have a slide hammer and was trying to find something that would grab onto it to pull it out.

I was thinking about that after I posted, I was walking out to my car and passed the spare engine and noticed there werent any threads, became confused and continued on to go to school.
