91 Bose Headunit question

Anyways, just bought this car, it does need a new headunit, it is stuck on 1 AM radio station, sound does come out of the speakers, so thats a good thing. I plan to put an Alpine cd player in there the 7903 model but need to know if I need a special wiring harness since its a Bose stereo system?

DO A SEARCH!
For the x time this month:
If you want to only do the HU then yes get a harness/adapter
If you want to do it right Replace the speakers and wire too.

i noticed that this is a really common problem, i bought a harness from crutchfield for like 50 or 60 bux, kinda got ripped off coz i only use it for the power source. but it works good for me, i still have the original wiring back there but i did some ghetto rigging for my new speakers.

i dont know how it works, but i herd that an altima harness works too, you might want to get another opinion on that. Try a search

Sorry, the search option never works when I click search, the page is always unavailable. I just need to know if its some expensive harness or what.

yeah i think the harness is not more than $100 CDN... worth it though cause anything sounds better than the bose HU.

u might just need a harness, which plugs into the bose plug and then adapts to the cd player (HU) itself..

unless the aplines make the HU's with those loose wire connections.
