89SE question

what size cone filters fit on? i havent taken off the airbox an measured yet, anyone know the size of it so i can buy a cone filter.

You'll need a MAF adapter and usually a 3" ID cone filter

where can i get a MAF adapter, and whats it for? is it somthing that i have to hookup after i take out the airbox and stuff? also how much is it?

i got mine at ebay really cheap too and then get a k&n filter.

The MAF adapter is needed because the MAF sensor bolts directly to the stock airbox witha flat flange.
Alot of places sell the MAF adapter.
You should PM littlepiggie I think he sells em to.
If you buy from someone else be sure to get the one for a 300Z it is reported to fit better than the one most places sell for the Max
