How the heck do you...
Hey all. I was wondering how the heck you got the hood-suspension/hydrologic arms off of the bracket! My support arms are too weak to hold up the hood at times. I have new ones that fit. My problem i cannot get the arm disconnected from the bracket that holds it to the hood. I know theres a way, but what it is, i have no idea. any help would be...helpful. haha. thanks yall.

unbolt the bracket from the hood (watch your head)
then take the bracket to your workbench and drill out the rivet holding it together. it MUST be drilled out- no way it's coming out otherwise.
there are some brands out there that sell the supports with brackets attached, but if you didn't get those, then you'll have to drill the old bracket off and the new one comes with a new hinge pin and ways to mount it.

I've had to learn the hard way on most of the stuff on my car.
