you need to bend the bracket that holds the stock setup back a little bit and you need a smaller battery. other than that, it's no hole

jay loved doing that to my vg, i just watched in agony. but it was worth the slight gains, but not worth the speeding tix testing it out after leaving jays house in 2 am......

a few extra horses... but the best part is the roar, but the bad is that you need to keep the revs high to make the growl, which is bad for fuel economy..

dont get me wrong i would do it again.. like i said, its just a slight gain, not like we are gonna be running 20 extra ponies with a cai

hey what about the maf wiring.... how did you address that issue??? with out that wiring you wont be able to go beyond i think 1500 rpm

well, i know in the kit he will have wire extensions along with instruction on how to solder. he may also include some butt connectors as well

huh.. the maf stays where it is... i was just asking about this case where the maf wires have to be extended due to the longer distance of the maf relocation.... but the normal cai set up all you need to do is attach the cai tubing to the maf via nuts and bolts and using an aftermarket maf adapter bracket...
