Where would you put an aftermarket water temp sensor on a VG30E

I've got a VG30ET with the same intake and waterneck as the twin throttle body VG30E maxima. I'm interested in putting in an aftermarket electric coolant temp guage. I'd like to keep the stock guage operational but I can axe it if I must. Do any of you know who makes a direct fit electronic sending unit that I can put in place of the stock unit? Can both guages run off of the one sender? What have you guys used? I'd stick with the stock unit but I've got the turbo and I'm converting to electric fans so I'd like to keep a better eye on things.

I know there are VGs on this board with a coolant temp gauge. What I did was, since I already had a TB coolant bypass hose, I just tapped into that hose and got a Home Depot copper Tee fitting to screw my sending unit into. Then screw in 2 barbed fittings from HD also and then attach the hoses. Make sure you seal your threads with thread sealer or RTV.

So, my advice is to find your stock coolant temp sending unit. Then find the closest hose near that as possible. Then tap into that hose. Good Luck.
