camaro side skirts

one of my brothers friends offered to give me his f body camaro side skirts to put on the max........he said all i'd have to do was trim them a little, would that ever work, ever? and by the way, they are a little bit too short, maybe like 2 or 3 inches..............not that i'd do it, but just out of curiosity

its an f body, i'm not sure what year, but i'm pretty sure they're all the same, its one of the ones from like 83 to 90 something, the ones you always see in those cheezy 80's car chases, what parts do you have for a max floating around??

is it from the earlier 3rd gen camaros (82-~90) or the latter (~91-92)?

difference is the little scoop was on the 91-92s and the pre 91s didnt have the scoop

pre-91

91-92

imo i dont see how that will fit or even look good on a 3rd gen max, it looks great on the camaros but just doesnt "fit" the maxs body flow....go with the stillen side skirts

i thought you originally meant the 4th gen camaro side skirts from the RS, those would probably look better on the 3rd gen max

its the earlier one of the camaros, we just put it up to the rockers, and it didnt look completely terrible, i figure if i ever have a rainy day we'd trim up just for fun and see what they look like, who knows....trimmed right they might look decent on there, or not

I had an 87 Z28(I think it was an 87...it was the year before they started calling them Iroc Zs)...it was a fun car but not very powerful with the 305...I was glad to see them bring the 350 back to them later on and then the 350 with a 6 speed in the 93-up.

also the earlier Zs had a different side skirt and front and rear spoilers too...all together they had 3 styles on that body. The first ones were a narrower type.

Grisadiche-the f body is just the GM designation for the Camaro platform. It has nothing to do with years. I may be wrong on this but am pretty sure all Camaros are F bodies...again I may be wrong but I dont think so.

By the way the Chevelle was an A body. Thats the only other one I know though LOL.

all camaros were F-bodys
The chevelle/malibu/monte carlo fluctuated between A and G body codes

82-84 Z one set of effects
85-90 another
91-92 another

BINGO!!!

Of course the only Chevelles that were of any importance (such as my 66 ) were A bodies.

iroc rims are nice, so are the 91/92 RS rims on 3rd gens

but the torque thrusts look insane on the 1st and 2nd gens
