(VG) Knock sensor question

(Used the search a million times, but no luck so please dont hate...)

Just need to double check if i'm right about the location of the knock sensor, the connector and the color of the wire you put the 470k resistor so i can check if my KS is good or bad... or is there a write up or a picture of how to do the KS bypass on the VG?

Any help is greatly appriciated

IIRC its on the rear side of the block, passanger side between the 1-3 cylinders. I dont know if the 470k resistor will work though. When I looked in the FSM it wasnt designated like the VE's was.

I was looking in the FSM while racing KloWnPr109 for who could find it first... he won (I think I was being distracted by the TV though. I dont remember).

Where does the resistor go on the plug?... does it get looped on the plug coming from the ECM or does it go inline with either one of the wires and which one, what color?

I wasnt post whoring, I was trying to bring up the point that I have not seen a specific range for testing the K.S. in the FSM. The VE states a specific value range in OHM's for the Knock Sensor, the VG just says 'test for continuity'.
