I was wondering if anyone out there had a 3rd gen and a 4th gen max to see if the center consoles are compatible. I saw one thati woul like to put in my 3rd gen cause it had no cup holders.

I am quite sure that they are not directly compatible, however, I think Saddleman makes a aftermarket cup holder/storage bin that replaces the stock center console storage bin. I have something similar on my 280Z...

How much of the floor is rotted out? Just to where it leaks, or you can actually stick your foot through the floorboard?
Body shops can replace stuff like that, as long as the frame is still in good shape. They simply cut out the old stuff and weld new floor panels into place. I've seen it done on many cars.

floors aren't that easy to put in. We had an old caprice at our shop that we had to weld a floor in and it was a pain in the ***

very bad

I had a guy look at it in salem mass and he said 4,000. so i told him where to put it and took a look my self. When i jacked it up, the jack went threw the floor after 3 cranks decided i would use the frame and took the rims and tires off it. so then i took the door panel out and saw the rot in the door and decided to take the regulators out (about 1 pound)and when i loosened it it fell 4 inches into the bottom of the door and went right threw it and landed on my work pad, but anyway yeah the under carrage is shot, its a waste of a perfect car everything was mint except that but its enough to total it, this is my 3 rd one and before that i had a 260 with a choke(old school)
