Will the strut bar for a 00-02 work on 94 GXE ? I was told it would so I bought one and it looks like I am going to have a problem near the powersteering lines. Can anyone help me out with this ?

Well i went ou to do a quick check of the mount plates and the right one hits the PS lines. The other one doesnt really line up with the holes but I can fix that. I got the bar from ebay too. Cant think of the exact company but it is an 00-20 for sure.

The problem is also with the VGs if you get a 5th gen. FSTB that has the curved bracket instead of the straight up one.

I have the cheap ebay one and had it on my SE. I recently got the correct one with the straight up bracket so I moved the cheap one to my GXE. It hit the air cond. line just like it did on my SE.

It isnt a big deal because you can move the air cond. hose out of the way BUT that is something that isnt required to do if you get the bar with the straight up bracket.

For examples of what I mean by straight up bracket look on my site.

I have the same exact FSTB as you do from ebay. Its the same as the stillen except it had some other name on it. I took some gum cutter/carb cleaner to it and got rid of the ghetto name on it.

You'll just have to find a FSTB with brackets that look like the one awsm66 has. This was a simple issue when the 5th Gen FSTB was a new thing, but some genius decided to make a FSTB with curved brackets too, which is the one that can cause problems.

All 92-94 Maximas, in all models, should really use one of these FSTBs because the air conditioning hose is in the way on these years, not the VE's intake plenum.

I have courtesy nissan's 89-99 FSTB on my VE and only had to unhook one bracket from its harness and lay it on the side to get it to fit right. Its been on my car for almost 3 years with no problems

The old courtesy 3rd gen bar fits better than the current one.

This is the 5th gen bar from Courtesy, I'm not sure if they still sell the same one.

Yes the RSB is awesome but if you have the Addco one make sure that you beef up the supports because they won't last long. STB is also a great mod. I don't think that I could function without either of them.

I have the ST set and my rear brackets already broke...so I have to fabricate something up quick. My car handles like one bad ***** too !!! I cant imagine it getting better with the front and rear ( When Matt gets them done ) [ HINT ] braces installed.

I made 2 L brackets out of thick angle iron and drilled a hole in one end and put the bracket bolt through it and temporarly bolted tehm back on but will be welding them to the frame next saturday. I noticed more oversteer when I put on my RSB and tighter steering with the FSTB. I would consider the FSB but I don't want all the body lean to go away resulting in understeer. But not sure.

I remember seeing some really awesome beefed up mounts a member made a while ago. Maybe Matt will make some?

I cant stop driving my car now, I love that RSB, once it wears off I might have to get a FSB. After I get the Eibachs/Tokico's installed I think I might live in my car.

You're going to run out of gas, clog up your injectors, and burn out your fuel pump.

Then once you get your car back on the road, 5 months later, you will have realized that more than 2,000 drops have leaked out of your transmission and is now low, you will be forced to refill your tranny with some generic Napa gear oil. Now that you're out of the driveway, you hear a clank clank once you get on the street and notice that both sway bar links that bolt to the underside of the car are now broken and dangling.

You put it back on the garage and wipe off the shame of blue that you have written all over your dim gauge lights and oil filler cap (the blinker fluid can stay, as long as you get blue blinker fluid).

All while I stole your Eibachs and cut 3 coils and was tucking 65-series tire all over Seattle. Teehee.
