im just driving along the a main street on my way to one of my jobs to make a sceduale request, and there is a whole line of traffic going the opposite way, so what ever, stopped traffic in the opposite direction shouldn't be of any concerne to me, so all of the sudden this stupid 1990 toyota suv pulls out of the line of traffic to make a left turn to go the way im going, only she pulled out, a foot away from my front bumper while im going 35 mph, completely destroys the front left end of my car, hood, fender, light assembaly, bumper, axel, tire rod probably(things under the hood i couldn't realy see): radiator, battery, brake cylinder, the tranny cuz the axel was probably jammed in there. and im also leakin oil and tranny fluid. total damage, probable 10 times the value of the car.

I am also worried about something like that happening when I see opposite side traffic like that so I stay out a little so they can see me coming up the street hopefully.

Really sorry to hear about the car, good thing is your okay. If you can walk away it can't be that bad.

Man that sucks buddy. Glad to see that you're ok.

I'm always leery of whizzing by cars stopped that are going the same direction as me (ie, in the carpool lane going 40-45 mph when traffic is going 15-20 mph). Most roads around here in Seattle that are above 40 mph usually have dividers.
