ugh strut bar

i just bought a strut bar yesterday..and i had a problem installing it but i KIND OF got it in..i could only get 2 screws on each side to fit..but i tested the strut bar..and i feel the difference.and it works.but i wonder if it will pop out because i only put 2 on each side..

you should have attached the stb will all of the bolts that where there to begin with. each of those bolts is used to hold the spring/strut assembly ON THE CAR. with out these your car will not be able to handle the loads that are being forced on it by the suspension. eventualy something will wear and break... All of thoes bolts there there for a purpose..

JibaroMax, what brand of FSTB is this? I was thinking about getting the Courtesy bar myself.

the name starts with a P..i forget..peco or somtin like that..and froman..i think im gonna take it out today and put it on together to see if all the screws fit.i dont want nothing to tear..and if i dont get it on ill bring it to a shop so they can do it for me

yea mine was a little hard to get all the nuts back on, but you just have to play with it a little

The new Cattman bar looks good, it's black anadoized with the cattman logo laser etched!

also, do you guys know how much to torque the bolts to? 30lbs was it?

u want to tighten to 30 pounds...no more or else the bolts are gonna rip off when u turn hard..
