Another reason as to why infinite baffle setups usually aren't favored. They take too much effort to get it right and most people don't want to go there.

yeah, it took several months of working weekends and nights to get enough dynamat in there and seal off all the openings on the trunk lid...
spent a full day back there with tubes of RTV silicone, some 1/2" plywood, and a jigsaw covering up holes that I didn't want in the rear deck.

Yeah I loved that box, sounded great just like you said. It was very heavy though.
