Adjusting the timing

Hay!1

I'm messing around with the timing but i have yet to hear the pinging. Right now, the screw/bolt is right inbetween the arch thingy (ie: equal air space on each side of the bolt). How far is yours?

You'll probably not hear any pinging until it's drastic, and then it's already doing damage. Get a timing light and set it that way. They're only about $25 for a decent one.

He's just curious about where your cars is guys...
he probably has access to $$$$ timing lights from Snap On and stuff.
