I have an 89' Maxima and my front right "Passenger Side" headlight has gone out...but only the low beams not the highs...its not the bulb...nor the wiring harness. So it concludes that it is most likely the lowbeam wiring that leads back into the connection box. So heres my question:
A. Has anybody ever had this happen to them?
B. If you have or know whats wrong, am I right...or is there something else, and how do I do it?

Thanks guys

Check the bulb

Same thing happened to me when I had a Honda many years ago. What you can do to check is to swap the headlight bulbs left and right. If your driver side headlight goes out, you know it's the bulb.

Tried that already

I tried that one already....even replaced them both just too double check. Didn't work...switched...switched wiring harnesses...none of that worked. Its got to be something else.

Fuse...Check

Yeah, I already thought about that one. Infact I checked all of my fuses (alot of them) and none of them were blown or fried. I simply replaced the two front headlight fuses just to be safe but that was the problem either.

simple light test

this is not as hard as you are makeing it, if you dont have a light tester ,get one(3-4 dollars, worth the investment)turn on low beam and check the current going threw the wire. youll get one of 2 results, light on and light off(dont forget to check the ground with a constant power source, your light tester manual will explain in more detail). If the light is on follow the wire toward the light untill the light does not light any more and then you will have found your problem. If the light is off, follow the wire in the opposite dirrection away from the light untill it lights and then you have your short or fuse or fuseablelink(post fusebox). dont forget to tape wire after probing jagoff
