Part description help

Hello
I need some assistance in determining the part that I need. I have a fuel leak from the hose that goes from the gas filter to the fuel rail. The leak is at the fuel rail. What is hose called? Also, I am assuming that I will have to remove the manifold to replace this so I will purchase the upper manifold gasket. I also have a new oem gas filter which I will replace. Is there anything else I should do?
Please see pics below for problem.
Thanks

Wheeee... that's your incoming fuel line. uses 1/4" high pressure fuel hose..

to get to it, you'll have to pull your upper intake manifold off. I think you can change that one without pulling the injectors, but it will be best to pull them off, clean the ends up, and replace ALL of the short fuel lines around the fuel rail while you're in there. there's about 4 of the short pieces.

instead of listing alllll the parts you'll need, just call Kaleb at courtesy nissan and tell him what you've got to do. he'll get you fixed up with all the proper parts. that boy knows the VG better than anyone I know, and actually did the job a couple weeks ago himself.

I also suggest pulling the injector rail completely off and replacing the o-rings around them too. it's another common place to leak, and will cost you anouther $10 or so to fix now. otherwise you're going to pay $60 for more gaskets when you have to do it again.

I have the same exact problem in the same exact place. I would love to do it myself, but I have absolutely No major techincal experience, is it that hard and is it expensive to fix @ the shop?

go down to your favorite parts store and get about 5 feet of fuel injection hose 5/16 in size. DO NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE..IT MUST SAY FUEL INJECTION.

get 2 packs of hose clamps MADE FOR FUEL INJECTION.

if you don't have a screwdrive pick one up also..phillips..get a stubby one too.

depressurize the fuel lines...or get a shower of gas. i heard chicks dig the gas smell on guys.

get to the car..follow the line from the gas filter to the fuel rail.
loosen the clamps and slide them up the line so it's not around the fittings. if it's hard to get off then make a slit along the hose. after the cut the hose should just pop right off.

take the hose and match up the length to the new hose. once u got the measurement right (a little extra better than short) make your cut.

then replace hose using new clamps.

repeat for other lines.

if at any time the directions seems confusing then best to bring it to a pro. unhood fuel leak is not good.
