Clearing tails

has anyone cleared their tails on a 3rd gen? is it possible? and how would i go about doing it? i did a search and couldn't fina anything so i decided to post. thanks guys

IMO....clear tails aren't that good look'n on our cars. U can do it by taking out the tails and take a head gun and separating the housing from the tail. Then take out the red piece in the tail and replace it with a piece of plastic flourescent light cover(can't remeber exactly what he used but was similar to the material I just described)....somebody had done this but can;t remember who.

whatta bout skyline tails?

some guy on here painted his tails to look like skylines, i thought it look cool but i don't know what kind of paint to use so it will match that panel on the trunk. plus do u guys think it would look good on a white max? maybe it will be a project for this summer........ please let me know what kind of paint to use if u guys know, thanks
