Finially Got my first set of rims. Now for a drop.

My New 17in rims. Konig Tanturms or verdicts??? 17X8 Got them off another org member Golden Glory 4thgen in the below pic. Yes its official. After owning 2 third gens both with mods, never had i had a set of rims. Nowfor the first time in the 2 1/2 years of owning 2 maxima's i have actually baught a set of rims. One thing that i can say, they are very noisey on the road, probably the tire combination. Also when i turn all the way to the left in making a turn, i rub darn. Oh well. But just the looks and actually having rims i am very pleased. And got it off a friend here on the org for a very crazy price.
What do you guys think. Now i have to find one center cap, the other three are gonna be owed t me in the next week. But so far i like the little ghetto look of no caps

I am not anti 5 spoke but heck they are my first set of rims but not my last right Jason?

No no no! you've got it all wrong. You buy the wheels that I think look good on your car for your car. Its not about what you like, its about what I like. Glad we got that straightened out. and again

at least you are headed in the right direction. I would like to get wheels, too and those look nice on your car. Like most other mods, it takes patience (and saving money) to round up everything.

They look nice and they will be quieter when you have four matching tires on them.

Those kinda look like mine, but mine aren't konigs. Seven spoke wheels look almost as good as five in my opinion.

Tires are really important in the noise factor. My new 17's are about 75% quieter than the 16's I had.

Very nice izzy I think they fit your car just right, almost looks like a different car from when i saw yours at the RI meet, but most definitely better. Getting a good deal on them too...gotta love it.

dont take them off, the finish isnt gonna get hurt and your getting mine n the spring, only reason would be the tires but we can take care of that too.

I agree.

They look good, whatever they are. Try getting some better pics for us to see.

What offset are those wheels anyway? I imagine that since they were off a 4th Gen the offset might be too high for a 3rd Gen, so some wheel spacers might be in order if you want to get rid of that rubbing problem you have....

Lookin real good. The winter is gonna suck with summer tires. I'd hate for you to slide into a curb or something... Nice job. Your max is coming along nicely!

i cleaned those rims every other day, and used stainless steel shiner on them.
bling bling them and it protects against brake dust, road crap etc etc. just rub down with a towel or cloth.
