I was driving yesterday and my max just shut off. All the lighting was out for about a minute including my hazards. When I tried to start the car it would not start at all. I just replaced the battery yesterday so it couldn't be a bad battery. Does anyone know what it could be. One of my friends told me that it might be the alternator. If it is how much does a new alternator cost for maxima's? I also got an amp and 2 "12 xplods put in my car too. when I turn the volume a little too high the m-600 unit shuts off as soon as the bass hits. Is this a wiring problem or could it all have to do with the problems with my car (alternator). Your help would really be appreciated in diagnosing my problems. Thanx.

just had mine replaced my symptons included:the dash lights being very dim,headlights also,my radio would shutoff when i applied the brake or the car was just idling,when i accelerated it was fine i think the alternator was $220 from NAPA my freind installed it for me for a 6pack and some bar-b-que
