Kaleb,
I talked to Matt on this board and several people at various shops, but I know that you work in a Nissan shop and that you have good information... I have a 97+ SE wheel that does not have the seats in it that make the wheel fit securely onto the studs. I checked with Nissan and they told me that they do not sell those pieces separately, and that I would have to buy a new wheel or to find a wheel repair shop that works on damamged and refurbished wheels. I have check several of these shops and no one can order these parts because Nissan does not sell them separately and no one has a junk wheel just sitting around that can give me the seats. Now my question is whether or not the seats from ANY Nissan wheel 95+ will work in the SE rim, or will the seats be able to be removed from another SE rim and put into mine safely and without damage to the seats? If this is possible, I know of places that have new SE wheels for sale, I can buy the wheel and have the wheel shop swithch the seats. Also would it make a difference if my wheels are already chrome and the wheel that I would purchase would be alloy? Sorry for the lenght, but I really need to find out soon, so I can stop riding on my one factory size 3rd gen rim and tire. Thanks in advance for your help!
