scrubbing

what causes my rt front or my left front to rub when taking tight turns i've recently installed front strut bar thinking that would help a little but has not. My next guess would be to add front and rear sway bar?? Also it feels like I'm riding on pure rim when taking corners 225/40/18's.

That's not the offset, that's sounds like the wheel width.

Offset is the number that tells you how far in or out the wheel sits in the wheelwell. It should be a spec that you should know before you buy wheels and tires as it can be very critcal. Chris is asking for it because it sounds like your tires are rubbing somewhere. Most likely on the inside someplace.

Offsets are usually some number between 45 and 30mm for FWD cars. It may be on the back of the wheel somewhere, but if you're going to look for the number there you might as well check your sidewalls for signs of rubbing anyway...
