BlehmCo. Stage II lower tie bar installed and partially reviewed
When I was doing my Stillen short throw shifter I decided to install my Stage II lower tie bar made by our Moderator Matt93SE. Well first let me start of by saying that quality of the welds and build of the stage II lower tie bar is great. Installation took a while since to make it fit there was some metal shaving to be done but nothing that 3 minutes with a shop grinder won't fix. Once thats done the fitment is great, bolted right in. I haven't been able to drive it hard all I've been able to do is take some curves here and there and you can definitely feel that the car feels tighter. Hopefully by tonight I get to spend more time with it and take some turns and make a more definite review about it.

You should get a manual trans. I can get my front tires going for about 15 feet on a hard 1-2 shift. Yeah baby!

You can still upgrade the suspension even on a VG
And when you eventually get a VE you can transfer the mods over

install process is easy enough... if you can't figure it out just by looking at it, then you probably shouldn't be under the car!
see the four mounting points? remove factory bolts. grind 1mm of material off of left rear mounting hole for clearance.. install bar. replace 4 factory bolts. done.
it's as easy to install as a FSTB, just on the bottom of the car and it uses bigger bolts.

update: I was merging on to the highway and this merge is an s curve, oh my god, it feels so tight when taking the corner its not even funny, like it felt like the back was going to give and throughout the turn I was flooring and after I got onto the highway, JTMAX03 was like you need that rear kit. Feels good, I love itm its a must for you 3rd gens out there. On high speeds on the highway it also handles very well, the steering feels more secure.

LOL!!
they'll still be here when you do have money to spend... don't kill yourself trying to keep up with the Jones's-- because you never will. there's always a faster, lower, better looking, better handling, etc etc car out there.
