clear tail light are available in white for our car but, who wants clear tails if you can't get the middle piece?

It would look weird with the piece on the trunk being black or with the red depending on the year. If I wasn't planning to get a 2002 next year I would take mine to the body shop, get the red reflector on the trunk removed and have a steel piece fabricated to fill it in and get it painted the same as the rest of the car.

where did you get this info? i highly doubt this, especially if SeaMAX called and they told him no. and what do you mean "in white"? you probably saw a misprint in a magazine.

Too many people have those damn things anyways.This summer I am going to remove the middle piece off the trunk and keep the corners.And do a white paint job I am only shaving the trunk section.And leave what I need.Those damn lights are played out you need to do what the song says and COME ORIGINAL.

dont even buy a honda, they are played out on honda's too....now its all about the jdm look. i still think they look kinda cool, but i dont think that at this point i would get them even if they did make them. a year ago, maybe.....

Well I think clear tails for the 3-gen is a disgrace anyway. But the real issue is when someone rams into you and you still have to pay becuase of your illegal tail lights that look pink and don't light up for crap.

Yo big whatever. Dude, you don't have to start dissing people over something stupid like this. If you say they have them then I will call again. Last time I called I talked to a sales rep and he checked the inventory but only came up with 95-97 clear ones, no 3rd gen ones. Anyways I will call again and ask to talk to Mark or a senior sales rep and we'll see.

I'm working on customizing altezza tail lights for my 3rd gen but I'm having trouble removing the outer clear lens so it would be great to buy a set that is already clear to start with i.e. you mentioned NOPI had them. That's why I called immediately.

Different strokes for different folks. People have different taste. That doesn't make them 'DUMBASS'es. Besides you must have wanted them also since you started this thread. Also I don't have a clear tail assembly but I did have it repainted and debadge to the color of the car which I think looks much better than a clear one.
