ok on friday morning I was driving and my car was winding out in almost all of the gears ( just red lined untill i took my foot off the gas and then re aplied prerssure.)I dont drive my car hard but i dont baby it. however when i do go slow it seems to do it less. i havent had the tranny serviced since i bought the car (august) when my mechanic said that the fluid was new so it had probably been service recently.

also the same time this started happening the Ebrake light would turn on and off 5mins on 3off and yess the ebrake was down. I tried to pull it (when i stopped) and put it back down and no luck.

could the two be ralated? would a tranny fluid and filter change help? good prices?

thanks

dont know about your first problem, but the second could be something besides your ebrake
the "brake" light comes on when your ebrake is on or when your brake fluid is low; check it soon

comepletely different...

WEll first off it sounds like you better take that tranny in for some service before it gets any worse...About the brake light, that light is not only for the e-brake it doubles as one that indiciates that something is wrong with the brake system itself, if i had to take a guess i would say check your brake fluid level, chances are when you got on it it would trip the sensor... good luck with the tranny...
