Had timing advanced and now car idle's rough
Had my 94 GXE timing advanced to 18 degrees and now the car idle's rough. I made sure to switch to 93 octain gas (used 94 on last fill up) but it is still idleing rough. The car also idle's allot lower now. Used to idle at 1k but now it is just over .5k
Should I just put it back to 15 degrees or is this normal?
Thanks

It's possible that you didn't do it right if you got one of those advanced timing light gun with a variable setting ****.
Make sure that the **** was set to 18 if that's what you really wanted and make sure it doesn't move while you're setting your timing. Otherwise, if that thing moves, you will not get accurate reading.

Just curious, has anyone else had similar results with advancing the timing?
